FUN vendors forum 2002, "Uncertainty
modelling tools for improved decisions" will take place on Friday
8th March at the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
During the last couple of years the use of integrated uncertainty
modelling for decision making has increased. FUN has also focused on
this topic through the Best
Practice project. To get a better overview of the tools available
on the marked, we have invited eleven vendors. More info at our seminar

During the week of August 30 to September 3,
the Best Practices Project Team will visit Stavanger and Oslo
to interview oil companies active on the Norwegian continental shelf. The purpose is to
arrive at a view on the current practices related to forecasting reserves, production,
costs and emissions and obtaining views on possible alternative practices resulting in
better forecasts. On Friday, September 3, a workshop on
best practice will take place. All FUN members are invited to participate in the
workshop. |

Applied Geoscience (TNO) by June 8, 1999. |

The FUN internet pages have been given a new
layout to make them more accessible and also make the site easier to administrate. Frames
are used actively. Although the different browsers treat frames differently, these pages
have been tested with satisfactory results using the following browsers: Microsoft IE
3.01, Microsoft IE 4.x, and 5.x, Netscape Communicator 4.x and Opera. If any of our
